The Time Trampoline is an invention designed by Aviva. It was built in secret and first debuted in the Season 3 specials "Back in Creature Time: Day of the Dodo" and "Back in Creature Time: Tasmanian Tiger". After the latter episode, the trampoline was destroyed because the wormhole used to go back in time was open for too long.
The machine appears to be powered by the Tortuga's power system.
Information[]
The time trampoline must be set up, in order for it to work properly, or the user can be trapped somewhere in the past that they don't know of. In order to reach the past, someone has to jump on the trampoline high enough to establish a time connection. They then jump into the time gate, and, once the desired time has been reached, they throw the mobile trampoline and bounce off it into the time chosen. To return, they have to jump back onto the time gate with the mobile trampoline, essentially repeating the original process backwards.
Once the user has traveled to the time period selected, the time jump connection will be stable only for a limited time. Should the time connection be open for too long, or become damaged in any way, the connection will become too unstable and the trampoline will collapse as a result, trapping the user in their selected time forever. Also, if the user goes back to the same time and place right away, the trampoline will automatically collapse, and again the user will be trapped in their selected time forever.
In the specials "A Creature Christmas" and "Wild Kratts Alaska: Hero's Journey", the time trampoline was shown to be under repairs, meaning that the project was not abandoned. In the episode "Wolf Hawks", the Time Trampoline was on Zach Varmitech's whiteboard of inventions to steal, which could imply that it's now fully-repaired, although Zach may be unaware whether it is or not.

Trivia[]
- In "Raptor Round Up", Aviva hinted that she just started working on her time machine and that they couldn't reach the era of dinosaurs yet.
- Being just a prototype, the trampoline can only allow traveling up to 500 years back in time. While used in the present, the earliest it can go is to the 1500s.
