- This is the 7th episode where Jimmy miniaturizes.
- Chris is the second character to do the Floss in a Creature Power Suit. The first is Martin in "The Real Ant Farm."
- Aviva's mention of milksnakes mimicking coral snakes is a little misleading. Firstly: the image of the coral snake on her screen was an Aquatic Coral Snake, whose stripe pattern has red on black. Secondly: the mimicry is better known with the United States' species of coral snakes; the Eastern and Texas Coral Snake, whose patterns have red touching yellow. Although some species in Central and South America do have the same pattern of stripes.
Key facts and Creature Moments[]
- Poison dart frogs are brightly colored to warn predators that they are poisonous.
- Poison frogs produce their poison by eating insects and invertebrates that have poisonous chemicals that get into a poison frog's special poison glands in its skin.
- The brighter the poison frog is in color, the more poisonous its skin is.
- Some poison dart frogs are so toxic they can kill predators just by being touched.
- Poison frogs are good parents that carry their baby tadpoles up trees into bromeliad leaf pools so they can develop safely away from predators.
