The Queen Parrotfish (Scarus vetula) is a species of parrotfish found at reefs in the Caribbean Sea. The reason why they are called "parrotfish" is affably named due to the resembelance of the fishes beak to a parrot's beak. Like most parrotfish they eat mostly algae from coral plants by breaking coral up using their strong beak and their special grinding teeth in their throats. To avoid becoming a snack for hungry predators at night, the parrotfish releases a mucus to cover itself in a cocoon that hides their scent. A group of parrotfish is called an art school.
