Background[]

Season 4[]

In "A Creature Christmas" Martin activated Orca Power in order to save the Wild Kratts crew, alongside Chris (who was in Narwhal Power), from an ice floe they were stranded on by towing it all the way back to Varmitech Village, before activating Moose Power.

In "This Orca Likes Sharks," Martin and Chris activated Orca Power to hang out with the rest of the orca pod in search of a fabled shark-eating orca. For a while, they tested their swimming capabilities, before finding that there was a great white in the area heading straight for both them and Swirly, Chris swam the calf to safety while Martin attempted to fend off the shark (which had now damaged his Creature Power Suit). Once caught up with the pursuing great white and Martin, Chris held the shark back momentarily to stop it from attacking his brother more, before he was interrupted by Old Shark Tooth emerging from the depths and eating it. However, Martin was still facing the effects of being rammed by the great white and turned into a malfunctioned version of Great White Shark Power because of it. Due to this, Chris decided to distract OST from its pursue of malfunctioned Martin by use of the newly updated Dolphin Decoder, so that he could touch the experienced orca and return to Orca Power. The brothers then followed OST on yet another orca-eating rescue mission to save Swirly from another hungry shark before ending the day riding on the legendary orca in the sunset.

Season 5[]

In "Wild Kratts Alaska: Hero's Journey," Martin and Chris activated Orca Power offscreen at the beginning of the episode to help Koki test the tailfin adjustments of the suits that her and Aviva had recently done. At first the brothers had issue getting the correct height out of their jumps, but soon got the hang of it and then began observing some sea life, Martin in particular found a school of salmon that he warded away from the sight of Swirly and his mom, before the brothers both deactivated on the Tortuga deck.

In The Erminator," Martin malfunctioned into Orca Power as one of his many past transformation cycles from not programming Ermine Power correctly.
