Orange Peel is a baby male Bornean orangutan who first appeared in the Season 1 episode "A Huge Orange Problem," but wouldn't officially be named until the Season 7 episode, "No Name Dream." When the Kratt Brothers attempted to get the first-aid kit to the crew, Huge-O, the large male orangutan repeatedly threw them into the territory of the orangutan mom and baby. When he had gotten sore muscles from climbing, his mother had used chewed up Dracena leaves to cure his sore muscles, inspiring the brothers to use the leaves to cure their friends.
In "A Creature Christmas" he was one of the baby animals abducted by the villains in "A Creature Christmas" as a part of their outrageous plan to use baby animals as Christmas tree decorations for their shopping mall. He, along with the rest of his animal compadres, were rescued by the Wild Kratts and celebrated Christmas in the Tortuga with them before being returned home.
In "Archerfish School" he was captured once again, by Donita Donata to be a part of her new line of spring jewlery. Thanks to Chris in his new Archerfish Power Suit, he is rescued alongside other Bornean fauna and returned to his mother.
In "No Name Dream," he appears in Martin's dream as one of the animals that did not receive a name. Chris travels to Borneo to search for and name the baby orangutan. Using his miniaturized Draco Lizard Power Suit, he is able to find the baby, and, upon observing his orange fur as well as his lips' durability, dubs him "Orange Peel."
