Karl

Karl is one of the Wild Kratts Kids. He is part of the North American WKK team.

Description[]

Karl is a young boy with light skin, blond hair and green eyes. He wears western style riding gear: A white flannel shirt with a bandanna around his neck, blue jeans, cowboy boots and a white cowboy hat. He is an accomplished equestrian and is most commonly seen riding his horse.

Karl lives on a ranch in Montana with his grandpa. The ranch is located at the Rocky Mountain Front, and Karl loves seeing all of the wildlife that goes between the mountains and the prairies. He's saddened by the habitat loss he witnesses as a new road is built near his home. He's very alert and compassionate toward wildlife, even the dangerous ones. When a grizzly bear cub falls into a pit left by construction workers, Karl quickly calls the Wild Kratts and asks them for help with the situation. Karl is also clever, creative and a problem solver. After Martin's power suit malfunctions, he turns to Karl for ideas on how to rescue the cub, and Karl comes up with the idea of enticing the cub to climb a set of elk antlers left behind when Martin was deactivated.

Growing up on a ranch makes Karl no stranger to hard work. When the Wild Kratts decide to replace the vegetation that will be destroyed by the new road, Karl happily pitches in, and even teaches Chris and Martin a few rope tricks. With help from Karl and his grandpa, the Wild Kratts start to turn the land adjacent to Karl's ranch into a wildlife refuge; the in-universe equivalent of Grizzly Gulch, the Creature Hero Foundation's "creaturefuge.".
