Great Great Granddaddy Gourmand is a villain who made his first and only appearance in the Wild Kratts episode "Back in Creature Time: Day of the Dodo" as the main antagonist. He was a sailor and chef who lived during the 1600s. He is apparently Gaston Gourmand's distant ancestor (in Chris's words, Gourmand's fifteenth great-grandfather). Like Gaston Gourmand, he is voiced by Zachary Bennett.
Granddaddy Gourmand discovered the island of Mauritius and captured a flock of dodos (including Brainio), planning to cook them. However, while he set a course for home, the Kratt brothers rescued the dodos. In addition, to prevent Grandaddy Gourmand from returning to Mauritius and collecting more dodos, Chris re-marked the sailor-chef's map to point to Antarctica instead. Granddaddy Gourmand was last seen lost and shivering in the Antarctic, confused as to why he wasn't at the "tasty bird island".
