The Great Emerald Pondhawk (Erythemis vesiculosa), also called the great pondhawk, is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae. It can be found throughout the Americas, from South America north to the southern United States. It is an agile hunter that will eat just about any insect it can catch, including mosquitoes, butterflies, and even other dragonflies.
