Schnozzle is an adult male proboscis monkey who first appeared in the Season 1 episode "Kerhonk". He is the leader of a troop of other proboscis monkeys (mainly females and their young). But he was injured while saving his son Nosey from a gharial after he fell from a broken branch, so Chris got him back to the Tortuga HQ while Martin stayed behind to look after the troop. Schnozzle appeared again in the episode "A Huge Orange Problem", while the Kratt brothers were looking for orangutans and mistook Schnozzle for one.
