Mustelids (from Latin "mustela", weasel) are carnivorous mammals in the family Mustelidae, including weasels, badgers, otters, martens, and wolverines. Mustelids are a diverse group and form the largest family in the suborder Caniformia of the order Carnivora with about 60-70 species in 9 subfamilies.
