Background[]

Season 1[]

"In "Voyage of the Butterflier XT", Martin was in Butterfly Power in caterpillar mode, and was sitting in a bush while Chris and Aviva were out looking for monarch caterpillars. He also attempted to run back with them into the Tortuga, only to fail, due to the suit's movement limitations. Later, after Donita had stolen many monarchs from the forest, Martin and Chris both activated Butterfly Power to fly after them, after briefly being transformed into both caterpillar and chrysalis mode. Once gaining the knowledge of the butterflies' life cycle, they both flew to Donita's limousine with milkweed to lure them out of her trap and into a milkweed patch to lay their eggs. At the end of the episode, the brothers flew alongside Maxilla Jr and the new generation of monarchs.

Season 2[]

In "Creature Power Challenge", Chris malfunctioned from Hippo Power into Butterfly Power, alongside Martin who malfunctioned into Tarsier Power, both from the work of Zach's Disrupt-o-bots. Both he and Martin sank into the water they were standing in, with Chris being unable to use his wings as they'd gotten too wet, being unable to deactivate, and facing incoming baby crocodiles, before Aviva came and opened up him and Martin's suits to release the bots.

Appearances[]

Trivia[]

  • The suit also has a caterpillar mode and chrysalis mode. This means the suits can be activated from any part of the butterfly life cycle.
  • In "Voyage of the Butterflier XT", Martin is seen using caterpillar mode before Butterfly Power was progammed. It's implied by Aviva that Caterpillar Power exists separately as its own suit.
  • This is their second insect Power Suit, after Dragonfly Power.
  • In "A Fish Out of Water", Chris tries to look for his Butterfly Power Disc, so that he can use his Butterfly Power Suit to fly with the other butterflies. If that happened, the Butterfly Power Suit would've made its first appearance since "Creature Power Challenge".
