The Blue-tailed Hummingbird (Saucerottia cyanura) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It can reach a length of 9–10 millimeters (0.35–0.39 in). Females are duller than males and have a grayish belly with less rufous wings. They feed on nectar from many flowers, but especially Inga species.
