This butterfly was seen in the episodes Mimic (took place in Africa) and Elephant Brains (took place in India and Africa but I think the butterfly was shown in the India segment?), and I'm not exactly sure what it is.
Two previous identifications that it went by on the wiki included pioneer white and Indian wanderer. While in the middle of making a page for it under Pioneer White, I eventually realized that the butterfly was purely identical to the monarch but with white (and yellowish) replacing the orange. Of the many differences, the most distinct separation between the animated "pioneer" and a real pioneer is the exoskeleton; the animated pioneer has a bare black exoskeleton with small white spots while the real pioneer has a white exoskeleton covered with white fuzz.
I eventually concluded that it was most likely one of the members of Danaini which includes the monarch and close relates, which have the same unique spotted exoskeleton. My best guesses were:
Parantica aglea, the glassy tiger. Lives in India but not Africa, looks closest to a white monarch butterfly but not quite, doesn't have yellowish
Parantica aspasia, the yellow glassy tiger. Lives close to India, looks just like glassy tiger but with a slight bluish instead of white, has yellowish
Danaus plexippus (white morph), the white monarch. Isn't native to either location but has been reported in both continents, is hypothetically the best option in terms of just appearance, some have yellowish but inconsistent
Graphium angolanus, the Angola white lady. Probably isn't the mystery butterfly but listing it here as it's the only one from Africa that at least has a few similar defining features like monarch-like upperwing pattern and spotted exoskeleton
It's is only seen for a few seconds in each of its episodes and is most likely just used as a placeholder species, but what species of butterfly do you think it is? I would love to hear since it had me stumped for a long while!
